INGREDIENTS NEEDED & NOTES
Oats – Old-fashioned rolled oats are perfect for this recipe. These jumbo oats retain their texture even after overnight.
Chia Seeds – These will help to absorb the liquid and make the overnight oats creamy, also add fiber to the oats and help boost your energy for the day
Milk – Use whatever you love here! I love vanilla unsweetened almond milk, but you can use any type of milk. Feel free to use cow’s or any other plant-based milk.
Mascarpone Cheese – This is traditionally what is used to make Tiramisu, and has a mild but nutty flavor. Cream cheese will also work in this recipe.
Greek Yogurt – I love using original Greek yogurt in this recipe but feel free to use any kind of thick yogurt you like.
Espresso – Essential for tiramisu! You can use 1 espresso shot or 2 tablespoons of brewed instant coffee.
Cocoa – This gives the oats a chocolate taste. Its rich, mildly sweet, fresh & nutty flavor balances the whole oats. Cream cheese will also work in this recipe.
Natural sweetener – Just a little touch of pure maple syrup or honey to enhance the flavor and help cut through the tanginess of the mascarpone cheese.
